The reasons I love the album are to many to name. It's a drum clinc and the grooves on the post soul R&B jazz tunes are heavy but swing. Oz Noy's songwriting is masterful, but I think we're all getting used to that and his guitar playing keeps getting better and better and more interesting. What 's not to like? I also use that tune to check my sound system because so perfectly laid out in all registers. JS

You want to hear something cool? (Regarding Oz the Educator.) I turned on a co-worker to a signed disc and he let me know his favorite song was "Bembsha Swing" which he probably didn't realize eas was a Thelonious Monk song... and it is also different than my favorite tracks off the album "Zig Zag" and "Twisted Blues". So, we all get to decide which track is our favorite if we listen to the music first!
